Palestinians push for UN action over Trump Middle East plan

Palestine’s ambassador to the United Nations says none of its officials will seek to engage the US on Trump’s Middle East plan.
The plan proposes to annex a third of the occupied West Bank, including the Jordan Valley and Palestinian leaders say the plan is wholly pro-Israeli.
Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas will attend a meeting of the UN Security Council in two weeks to lobby other states about his cause.
